Eugene Carl Laubhan

Gene Laubhan, 81, of Amarillo, Texas passed away on March 21, 2024.
Memorial services will be at 11:00 A.M., Wednesday, March 27, 2024, at Trinity Student Ministry Auditorium with Kyle Wilkenson officiating. Arrangements are by Boxwell Brothers Funeral Directors.
Gene was born November 3, 1942, in Higgins, TX to Alex and Mina Laubhan. He proudly served in the United States Army and worked as a foreman in construction for Denman's Building Products. He married Kenda Clay Devore in 1986 in Amarillo, TX.
Gene was a man of many trades and loved to stay busy. He was an awesome Stepdad to Kenda's children.
He is preceded in death by his parents, Alex and Mina (Appel) Laubhan; step-parents, Clarence and Elma Lue Case; and brother, Linden Laubhan.
Gene is survived by his wife, Kenda Laubhan; children, Carl Laubhan and wife Kristy, Justin (Clay) Devore and wife Ashley, Kemah Rutledge and husband Danny, and David Devore and wife Sandra; grandchildren, Alec Laubhan, Abigail Heriford and husband Jadin, Danny Devore, Vanessa Devore and wife Payten Pearson, Makayla Curry and husband Chace, Chloe Ferracane, Lexus Demott and husband Tyler, Rylee Rutledge, Wynter Rutledge, Adilynn Devore, and Brennan Devore; great-grandson, Brett Dalley; and sister, Carol Cole and husband Charles.
