I am so sorry to hear about Gene´s passing. He was such a special man! I always enjoyed talking with him when I came to Mansfield Place to visit my mom. Every time I saw him, he wanted to pray for me, and I prayed for him too. The last time I saw him he told me that he was going home. I guess he wasn´t wrong. I will always remember that last prayer we had together. He began praying in the spirit and the power of his prayer was something I will never forget. I am so thankful God gave me the opportunity to meet him; he blessed my life. Please know that you and your family are in my prayers. May God wrap you in a warm blanket of His love. Gene is at home and he is at peace.

Gene was my Dads roommate at Mansfield Place in Philippi. We were shocked to learn he passed way. My mom just happened to see it on the Local Obits and called me. Please let us know if you need any thing. Sending lots of love and prayers.
