April 13, 2025
Eugene F. Redding, 87, of Wood River, passed away peacefully on April 13, 2025, at The Heritage of Sagewood in Grand Island. Memorial service will be 10:30 am Thursday, April 17, 2025, at Apfel Funeral Home in Grand Island, with Derek Apfel officiating. Inurnment will follow at the Grand Island City Cemetery. A gathering of family and friends will be 5-7 pm Wednesday at Apfel Funeral Home. Memorials are suggested to the family for later designation. Online condolences may be directed to www.apfelfuneralhome.com.
