Eugene Wade Rees

Eugene Wade Rees, 90, of south Florida died at Jackson South Medical Center
on Friday, November 22, 2024.
Gene, as he was known to his family and friends, was a retired Certified Public Accountant and
a graduate with a bachelor's degree from the University of Miami. He worked in accounting and
was a partner in his own firm in south Florida for many years and was highly regarded by his
clients and associates. Gene was known as a kind and generous man, and he loved and
appreciated his friends and family.
Gene was preceded in death by his father, Albert Terry Rees, his mother, Ruby Jewel Rees,
and his sisters Joanne Rees Martin and Sara Rees Rinkevich. Gene is survived by a few
family members who cared for him very much, including his niece, Monica Rinkevich Pathi,
his nephew, Charles F. Rinkevich, Jr. and his brother-in-law, Charles F. Rinkevich, Sr.
