Jack V. Loewel

Jack V. Loewel, age 75, of Naples, Florida, passed away peacefully at his residence on January 19, 2026.

Jack was born on October 29, 1950, in Columbus, Ohio, a son of the late Jack W. Loewel and Helen (née Molinski) Loewel. He was a proud graduate of The Ohio State University and later earned his Master's Degree in Education from the University of Miami in Coral Gables, Florida.

Jack was a man who appreciated a captivating story, a well-timed joke, and the company of loved ones. He thrived on conversation and connection, and his larger-than-life personality ensured he made friends wherever he went.

Jack's philosophy was that life is meant to be enjoyed. He loved spending an afternoon on the golf course, exploring new cities while visiting baseball fields, and never missed a happy hour with friends.

Jack lived life entirely on his own terms up to his very last day. His presence was undeniable and his memory will remain a vivid part of our lives forever.

He was preceded in death by his son, Jake Loewel with whom he is now reunited.

Jack is survived by his loving wife, Susan E. Loewel of Naples, Florida; his daughters, Heather Loewel and Taylor Rose; and his stepchildren, Ryan Ulrich (Maggie), Emily Llera (Tony), and Sara Ulrich. He is also survived by his cherished step-grandchildren, Ariana and Adrian Rouse, Hannah and Adam Ulrich and Antonio and Addison Llera.

He is further survived by his brothers, Brian Loewel (Joanne) and Mike Loewel (Charlotte).

A Reflection of Life will be held on February 21, 2026, from 10:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. at The Strand, 5840 Strand Blvd., Naples, Florida 34110. All are welcome to attend.
