Eugene "Gene" Alfred Rizzo, a long time resident of Eastchester, New York, passed away on November 15, 2024. Gene was born in Mt. Vernon, New York, on September 8, 1932. He lived a full and vibrant life, cherishing the moments spent with his family. He is survived by his daughter Juie Ann Sgobbo (Rizzo) and her husband Angelo Sgobbo. Dear brother of Geraldine Celentano (Rizzo) and three beloved grandchildren; Justin Sgobbo, Jillian Sgobbo, Hillary Sasiadek (Sgobbo) and husband Gary Sasiadek. He also was a loving great-grandfather to his great-grandchild; Eric Sasiadek, all who carry on his legacy and memories.
He was preceded in death by his devoted wife, Antoinette "Ann" Fabrizio Rizzo, with whom he shared many beautiful years. Together, they created a loving family environment that continues to resonate through the lives of their loved ones.
His impact on his family and community will be remembered fondly, reflecting the love and wisdom he imparted throughout his life.
The family will receive friends at the WESTCHESTER FUNERAL HOME, INC. EASTCHESTER Monday, November 18, 2024, 4:00 pm - 7:00 pm. Mass, Tuesday November 19, 2024 at 10:30 am at Immaculate Conception Church, Tuckahoe. Interment to follow at Gate of Heaven. In lieu of flowers, friends who wish may contribute to the Alzheimer's Association, https://www.alz.org/
