Gloria and family,
Words alone cannot express the sadness I know you are feeling. You take comfort in knowing that Gene is in Heaven and you will see him again some day, yet selfishly you wish he were here on earth with you. Making you laugh, telling a story or giving you a hug! Instead you are left with beautiful memories. We are all blessed to have had Gene touch our lives even if it was just the kind, warm, welcoming Hello that took place at a family gathering. He always made time to great us all! Gloria and family, Gene would want the best for each of you and to remember him in good times. So pick a memorable and special story, hold it close to your heart, share it with others, and know that Gene is there next to you sharing the story too. God Bless.

So sorry to hear of Gene´s passing.A few of us from Wausau would go to ParkFalls every Father´s Day and play in a golf tournament.Gene was very welcoming and we always had a great time hanging out with him.He even took us to a birthday party in Butternut one year.Great guy!

Many fond memories of Gene being part of our Friday Morning Men´s Bible Study and our golfing five-some of Gene, Larry, Herbie, Jack and Dave. Gene always brought bananas for our group. I imagine Gene will again bring bananas when we one day play the golf courses together in Heaven. We miss him.
