Eugene Smith

Eugene "Gene" Smith, beloved husband for 60 years to the late Mary Ruth Smith (nee Wilson). Loving father of Jackie (Paul) Nussbaum, Anita Smith (John Swafford), Lisa Smith, Bev (Jeff) Ertel, and the late Rick Smith. Cherished grandpa of 9 grandchildren, 15 great-grandchildren, and 5 great-great-grandchildren. Dear brother of Alfred, Ray, Ernie, Christine, Veda, Hayden, Gladys, and the late Eulene, Earl, and Leonard. Also survived by his uncle Lyndon Sizemore and aunt Betty Sizemore. Preceded in death by his parents Hardin and Myrtle Smith (nee Sizemore). Passed away surrounded by family October 11, 2023 at the age of 88. Visitation will be held Monday, October 16th from 11am until time of funeral service at 1pm at the Neidhard Minges Funeral Home, 10385 New Haven Rd. Harrison, OH 45030.
