Eugene C. Susco, 95, of Ravenna, passed away Wednesday, August 13, 2025 at his home with family. He was born December 25, 1929 in Akron, Ohio to the late Joseph C. and Ida H. (Lemke) Susco. Mr. Susco has lived in Ravenna since 1981 and in 1994 he retired from the Ford Motor Company in Walton Hills. He was a veteran of the US Navy and the US Army and was a former member of the Northfield Moose. Eugene was a friend to everyone, loved his family, and was an avid enjoyer of mini golf, swimming, gambling, sports, squirrel feeding and great wit! In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his son Dante Susco in 2007, three sisters and five brothers. Survivors include his wife of 45 years Dorothy A. (Lew) Susco, whom he married Dec. 28, 1979, his children, Cheryl (John) Wood, Melissa (Justin) Rosander, Louis (Josh) Susco and his grandchildren Christina Jean Wood, Zachary John Wood, Kieran Elijah Rosander and numerous nieces and nephews. In honoring his wishes, cremation has taken place and graveside services will be held at Maple Grove Cemetery Ravenna, Ohio on Tuesday, August 26, 2025 at 12:30pm with Deacon Chris Germak officiating.
