Eugene Thomas Obituary
Great-grandfather to Aedan, Aurora, Astrid, Leif, Rylan, Devlyn, Destiny, Kayleigh, Krista, Hanna, Carissa, Kinley and Bailey. Bo is preceded in death by brothers DeMont Thomas, Jr, Wallace Thomas and Ronald Thomas; he is survived by nieces and nephews.
Bo was appointed to the City of Pittsburgh Fire Department on June 16, 1956, retiring on July 31, 1995, as Deputy Chief. He was a Korean War veteran serving in the US Navy from January 1948 through December 1951.
Bo enjoyed many years of walking, playing tennis, round dancing and traveling. He was an avid reader and followed tennis tournaments and baseball games.
As per Bo's wishes service and interment are private. Arrangements are pending and will be announced in the future.
