My first encounter with Lenny was June 9th 1976. It was, for both of us, our first day on the railroad and as we worked together for many years in different capacities, we were always good friends. I got to know his family because at one point in our lives we lived right down the street from each other. Over the years we worked many jobs together, on the railroad and at each other's house. In closing let me just say that Lenny was one of the finest people I know. From giving his all to family and friends to giving the shirt off his back if you needed it, he was that kinda guy and he will be dearly missed. R.I.P. my friend

Len was a good foreman to work for, and he was a good man. I count myself fortunate to have known and worked with him.
