Stephen Robert Fellows

Stephen Robert Fellows died unexpectedly on Friday January 23, 2026, in his sleep at the age of 38. He is survived by his mother Jenny J. Fellows of New Port Richey, Florida. Stephen was born in Pittsburgh, PA on November 1, 1987, but grew up in Denton, TX since the age of 6, where he went to school K thru 12th grade. His father Robert (Bob) Fellows passed away in 2010. His college years were at Northwestern Oklahoma University in Alva, Oklahoma. He graduated with a Bachelor of Science degree. He loved the outdoors and hunting as well as photography.

He was an avid athlete growing up, he participated in Baseball, Basketball and Football. He also played college baseball at Northwestern in Alva, OK, until he hurt his pitching arm. He played in select baseball leagues growing up and was a ranked softball player as an adult.
He worked in the insurance industry as a Senior Underwriter servicing Fidelity/Crime policy.
In addition, he is survived by his fiancé, many grade school and college friends. Aunts, Uncles, 1st, 2nd and 3rd cousins who loved him dearly. He will be sorely missed by all who knew him. He was always smiling and gave great hugs. He was the kind of man who would light up the room and loved his friends and family as well as a great party. If you had a problem, you would most likely get a call or text or some form of communication to see how you were holding up. We miss you already Stephen.

Relatives and friend will be received on Tuesday, February 10, 2026, from 9-11 AM at SCHEPNER-McDERMOTT FUNERAL HOME, INC. 165 Noble Avenue, Pittsburgh (Crafton) PA 15205. Interment to follow in Chartiers Cemetery, Carnegie, PA.
