Eula Maxine (Gibbs) Wilson was born November 27, 1928, to Harvey and Ora (Matlock) Gibbs. She passed away June 23, 2025, in Rolla, Missouri, at the age of ninety-six years.
Eula was united in marriage to Joseph "Frank" Franklin Wilson and to this union they were blessed with two sons: Billie and Paul and one daughter: Marilyn. Their union spanned for twenty-nine years before his passing October 25, 1975.
Eula worked at the International Shoe Factory for over forty years. Her dedication was evident to those around her. Although she worked outside the home, her family was her true priority. She was a devoted wife and loving mother. She truly shined in her role as a grandmother and great-grandmother and cherished the memories made with them.
Eula lived a full and rewarding life filled with the people she loved. She was an all-around great cook and found great joy in cooking for others. Eula enjoyed quilting, often making handmade gifts for her family and friends.
Eula is survived by her loving sons: Billie Wilson and wife Pam of Salem, MO; daughter-in-law: Kim Wilson of Salem, MO; granddaughter: Sarah Chartier and husband Josh; great-grandchildren: Kynley, Kayzlyn, Jaelyn, Makiyah, and Noah; extended family and dear friends.
Preceding her in death were her husband: Frank Wilson; daughter: Marilyn; son: Paul Wilson; granddaughter: Kayla Wilson; parents: Harvey and Ora Gibbs; and two sisters.
Eula displayed a legacy of unwavering determination and independence. She will be remembered for her kind and loving spirit. Eula will be deeply missed by those who knew and loved her.
Graveside Services for Eula Maxine (Gibbs) Wilson were held Monday, June 30, 2025, in the Mt. Hermon Cemetery with Pastor Mitch Henson and Pastor GayeLynn Blankenship officiating. Special Music was provided by Brian Inman. Arrangements were under the direction of Wilson Mortuary of Salem, Missouri.
