Eulala Millie Gunn

Mrs. Eulala Millie
Fricks Gunn, age 96, of
Toccoa, passed away Mon-
day, March 2, 2026, at The
Overlook Toccoa.
Born in Westminster,
South Carolina, she was
the daughter of the late
Art and Carrie Denny
Fricks. She was the
youngest and last surviv-
ing of 10 siblings. She was
a member of Grace Baptist
Church, a member of the
Joy Sunday School Class
and had been a member of
the Jail Ministry Team.
She retired from Coats and
Clark with over 40 years of
service. She was a lifetime
member of the Toccoa
VFW Auxiliary, having
served as chaplain for sev-
eral years, as well as on
various committees.
In addition to her par-
ents, she was preceded in
death by her husband of 65
years, Carl Gunn and by
her siblings.
She is survived by her
children, Kenneth and Pat-
ti Gunn, of Toccoa, Ga.,
and Linda and Dwight
Payne, of Brookhaven,
Miss.; granddaughter and
spouses, Carrie and
Reeves Fernald, of
Brookhaven, Miss., and
Lauren and Timothy Van
Reenen, of Hillsboro, W.-
Va.; great-granddaugh-
ters, Abby and Katherine
Fernald, of Brookhaven,
Miss. and Millie Van
Reenen, of Hillsboro, W.-
Va.; and treasured
cousins, Carolyn and Bill
Maybach of Gainesville,
Ga.
Funeral services will be
Friday, March 6, 2026, at 3
p.m. in the Hillcrest
Chapel of the Acree-Davis
Funeral Home with the
Rev. Mike Petty officiat-
ing. The following gentle-
men will serve as pallbear-
ers: Will Maybach, Bill
Maybach, Reeves Fernald
and Timothy Van Reenen.
The family will receive
friends at the Acree-Davis
Funeral Home on Friday
from 1 p.m. until the ser-
