Eulene T. Jones

Eulene T. Jones, 68, of Greensburg, passed away on February 10, 2026, at her residence. She was born on August 6, 1957, in Sneedville, Tennessee, the daughter of Sonny Collins and Etter Trent. She has lived in Decatur County for 41 years and received her GED in 1994, which was a huge accomplishment for her. Eulene worked at GECOM for 12 years and had also been a CNA for many years. In 1981 she was bonded as a sheriff's deputy. Eulene enjoyed playing bingo, going to the casino, singing karaoke and dancing to 50's & 60's music. She loved spending time her kids, grandkids and great granddaughter. She is survived by her daughters, Katrina (Kevin) Gray of Greensburg and Tanisha (Evan) Davis of Indianapolis; her son, Elijah (Savana) Collins of Indianapolis; a sister, Ella Faye Trent of Powell, Tennessee; two brothers, Darrell (Connie) Trent of Tennessee and Kenneth Collins of Ft. Wayne; a sister-in-law, Sureda Faye Trent of Newport, Tennessee; her grandchildren, Malerie Gray, Kharmyn Gray, Abigale Gray, Lakein Gray, Landen Davis, Melody Davis, Charlie Davis, Stetson Collins, Emberly Collins and expecting Roman Collins; one great granddaughter, Illyonnah Abbott; her special live-in friend, Tamara Ward and her best friend, Norma Hogg. She was preceded in death by her parents, her brothers, Lin "N.J." Trent, Terry Trent and Glen Collins; 2 nephews, Travis Trent and Douglas Collins and a great nephew, Zachary Collins. Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Monday, February 16, 2026, at Bass & Gasper Funeral Home in Westport. Burial will follow at Milford Cemetery. Family will receive friends on Monday, February 16 from 12:00 p.m. until time of service at 2:00 p.m. at the funeral home. Memorial contributions may be made to assist with funeral expenses through the funeral home.
