Euna Jordan Riley, a beloved mother, grandmother, and cherished member of her community, passed away on March 11, 2026, in Blountsville. Born on October 26, 1932, Euna lived a life full of love, dedication, and joy, touching the lives of everyone fortunate enough to know her.

A proud graduate of Hubbertville High School's Class of 1951, where she earned the honor of Salutatorian, Euna's lifelong commitment to excellence was evident in all she pursued. Her devotion extended deeply into her faith as a lifelong member of the Musgrove Methodist Church, a foundation of strength and comfort throughout her extraordinary life.

Euna was a woman of many passions. She adored cooking and baking, filling her home with delicious aromas and warmth that brought family and friends together. She found peace and joy working in her flower beds, nurturing them with the same care she gave to her loved ones. Above all else, her heart belonged to her family, whom she supported wholeheartedly. With eight grandchildren whom she proudly cheered on in their many activities, Euna’s love and encouragement were constant sources of inspiration.

She is survived by her devoted daughter, Karen Shelton (Jeffrey), and daughter-in-law, Teresa Riley; grandchildren Will Riley (Angie), Katie Stewart (Jeremy), Jake Riley (Katherine), Laurel Anderson (Quaid), Brittany Tidwell (Wade), Nick Byrum (Ashley), Olivia Potts (Matthew), and Madilyn Byrum; as well as great-grandchildren Mason Riley, Brooks Riley, Easton Tidwell, Jax Woodard, Dallas Anderson, Elijah Anderson, Noah Anderson, Emma Kate Anderson, Chandler Byrum, Jameson Byrum, Lily Mae Riley, Charliegh Riley, and Riley Stewart. Their lives remain a living testament to her enduring love and spirit.

Euna was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Dale Riley, her sons Lance and Steve Riley, son-in-law Philip Byrum, her father Will Jordan, mother Lula Hubbert Jordan, brothers Ernest Jordan and Elger Jordan, and sisters Ethel Sherri, Elsie Wilks, and Edith Fowler. Their memories live on in the hearts of all who loved her.

Family and friends will gather to honor Euna’s memory with a visitation at Snead Funeral Home. The funeral service will be held at Musgrove Chapel on March 14, 2026, beginning at noon, followed by burial at 2:00 p.m. The cherished pallbearers for the service will be Jeffrey Shelton, Will Riley, Nick Byrum, Jake Riley, Quaid Anderson, and Matthew Potts.

Euna Jordan Riley’s life was marked not only by the love she gave but by the profound impact she had on her family and community. Her kindness, grace, and unwavering devotion will be remembered and treasured forever. Though her presence is no longer with us, her legacy endures in the hearts of those who loved her most.
