Eunice Van Bruggen

Eunice Van Bruggen died at the age of 90 on May 4, 2023.

A funeral service will be held at 11:00AM on Tuesday, May 9, 2023, at Faith Christian Reformed Church of Sioux Center with Rev. Bob Pollema, officiating. Interment will follow the funeral service in Memory Gardens Cemetery in Sioux Center. A visitation will be held from 10:00AM until the time of service on Tuesday at Faith Christian Reformed Church. Memorial Funeral Home of Sioux Center has been entrusted with the funeral arrangements.

Eunice Van Bruggen was born on August 8, 1932, in Sioux Center. She attended Western Christian High School and worked as a Nurses Aide at Pine Rest and Sioux Center Hospital.

Eunice Van Bruggen is survived by her husband, Ted Van Bruggen, and her children, Doug Van Bruggen, Dyxie Van Bruggen, Donna Kleinwolterink, Todd Van Bruggen, and Tim Van Bruggen.

Eunice Van Bruggen was preceded in death by her father, Christian Gesink, her mother, Elizabeth Gesink, her brothers, Melvin Gesink and Owen Gesink, and her sisters, Frances Baker and Jeanne Huizenga. She is also survived by her sister-in-law, Jeanne Huizenga, her brother-in-law, George Huizenga, her brother-in-law, Harold Van Bruggen, and her brother-in-law, Dennis Feenstra.
