Eunice Heyer Obituary

Eunice A. Heyer, of Cocoa, FL and formerly of Haines City went to be with the Lord on January 14, 2023. She was born on October 21, 1932 in Haines City, FL to Fred G. and Ada B. Smith Willis. She moved to Cocoa 60 years ago from Haines City, she was a homemaker and a member of the Cocoa Presbyterian Church, where she sang in the choir from 1957 until 2013.
Eunice had a great love of reading, enjoyed cooking, sewing and writing birthday cards as well as thank you cards to her loved ones. It was said, that she was an avid bowler in her younger years.
She is preceded in death by her parents, Fred and Ada; her beloved husband, Donald H. Heyer; daughter, Linda G. Holcomb; and granddaughter, Heather Heyer. Eunice leaves behind to cherish her memory her son, Mark R. Heyer of Cocoa, FL; brothers, Kenneth Willis of Davenport, FL, Royce "Corky" Willis and wife, Carolyn of Davenport, FL and Tommy Willis of Haines City, FL; sister, Patty Levan and husband, James of Bartow, FL; grandson, Nicolas Heyer and wife, Carrie of Lexington, NC; and great grandchild, Kaydence Vivona-Heyer; and several nieces and nephews. She will be truly missed by all.
A visitation will be held on Wednesday, January 18, 2023 at 1:00 p.m. followed by a funeral service at 2:00 p.m. all at Oak Ridge Funeral Care in Haines City, FL. Final resting place will be at Forest Hill Cemetery in Haines City, FL.

My wife & I had the privilege of singing with Eunice in the CPC choir, & I grew up with her son, Mark. Our thoughts & Prayers are with Mark & Eunice´s family at this difficult time. We will miss Eunice, but will be singing together in Heaven when GOD Calls us Home. Roy III & Bobbi Jo Lealman

Eunice Heyer, my second momma. She loved her family with all her heart and loved so many others. I have so many memories of her cooking in the kitchen, sending me birthday cards every year, (never missed) and the special love she had for Don, Mark and Linda. It was a pleasure living next door growing up on Willow Lane. I will miss the cards, the caring words she always had and that smile that would light up a room. RIP momma, until we meet again. Prayers for Mark and all her family, I know you will miss her dearly, but God will see you through, lean on Him.
