Eura Andrew Skidmore, Jr. entered into eternal rest on Sunday, August 13, 2023, at the age of 78. He was a native of Bertrandville, LA and a resident of Marrero, LA. Eura was a retired Stock Clerk of Winn Dixie Grocery Store. Husband of the late Bessie C. Skidmore. Loving father of Eura A. Skidmore, III, Benjamin (Brenda) Skidmore, Sr. of Killen, TX, Chaquita (Roderick) Roussell, and Letitia (Bosie) Wiley. Beloved son of the late Eura A. Sr. and Molly B. Skidmore. Brother of Corliss Southall, Paulette Skidmore, Norma Williams, Jocelyn (Willliam) Johnson, Monica Rodrique, and Glenda (Samuel) Carter. Brother-in-law of Dorothy Coler, and Barbara (Victor) Keller. Godfather of Gerilyn Lewis, Monica Rodrique, and Laniya Dixon. Eura is also survived by 9 grandchildren, 7 great grandchildren, and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives, and friends. Relatives and friends of the family, also pastors, officers and members of Macedonia Baptist Church, and all neighboring churches; employees at Heart of Hospice, and Bishop Nursing and Rehab are invited to attend the Celebration of Life at Davis Mortuary Service 6820 Westbank Expwy.
