Eutilla McGough Obituary

Obituary published on Legacy.com by Crestview Memorial Gardens & Funeral Home on Jan. 26, 2026.
Eutilla McGough, age 94, passed away peacefully on January 23, 2026. She was born on March 4, 1931.

Eutilla was preceded in death by her beloved parents, Leonard and Esther Wyers; her devoted husband, Vernon McGough; and her cherished grandsons, Michael Eddie Blake and Brian Nelson Blake.

She is survived by her loving sister, Shelba W. Green; her brother, Ronald Bruce Wyers; her children, Gwendolyn Blake, Gregory Brent McGough, Sr., Sharon Denise Bearden. She also leaves behind her treasured grandchildren, Andrea Alanna Davis, Loralyn Noelle Trotter, Nathan Lee Bearden, Dylan Lucas Bearden, Mathew Kirby Brent, and Gregory Brent McGough, Jr., along with a host of 18 beautiful great-grandchildren who brought her immense joy.

Eutilla had a deep love for her family and spent her life caring for them. She found great happiness working in her flower gardens-especially tending to her roses, which were her pride and passion. In her younger years, she loved to cook, and her family fondly remembers the special Christmas candies she made each year. She also enjoyed sewing and lovingly created beautiful clothes for her children.

A devoted Christian, Eutilla faithfully attended Maytown Baptist Church, where her faith guided her life and relationships. She was known for her kindness, strength, and quiet dedication to those she loved.

Eutilla McGough will be dearly missed and forever remembered by all whose lives she touched.

Visitation will be held at Crestview Memorial Funeral Home, January 30th, 2026 at 11am, with funeral services at 12pm.
