Eva Elizabeth Addison

Addison, Eva Elizabeth Age 90, of Minneapolis, died on January 2, 2023. Preceded in death by her parents, Gladys (Christensen) Boyer (Henry) and Carl Johnson (Ethel), her brother, Carl Johnson Jr. and her husband, Duane Addison. Eva was born on January 16, 1932, in Russell, Minnesota, and she graduated from Central High School in Minneapolis. She graduated from nursing school in 1952 and worked for many years in adolescent psychiatry, and then as a parish nurse at her congregation, Nativity Lutheran Church in St. Anthony. She was married to Rodney Erickson from 1955 to 1979, and then to Duane Addison from 1992 until his death in 2019. She and Duane loved to travel and have lively conversations with their friends. Survived by three sons, Stephen (Karen) Erickson, Andy Erickson, and Paul (Lynn) Erickson, and four grandchildren, Hayley, Ethan, David, and Sarah. Memorial service Saturday, 2:30 pm at Nativity Lutheran Church, 3312 Silver Lake Road, St. Anthony. Visitation begins at 1:30. Memorials preferred to Nativity.
