Eva Cisneros Obituary

Obituary published on Legacy.com by West Funeral Home - Carlsbad on Dec. 3, 2025.
Eva Cisneros, 55, of Carlsbad, New Mexico passed away on Monday, December 1, 2025 at UMC in Lubbock, Texas. On Friday, December 5, 2025 a visitation will be held from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. at which time a funeral service will take place at West Funeral Home Chapel. Cremation to follow services.

Eva Lozano Cisneros, born April 29, 1970, in Ysleta, El Paso, Texas, she was the beloved daughter of Alfredo Lozano and Fransisca Cortez.

Eva spent her working years with Lowe's, where she was known for her warm spirit and the way she made everyone feel welcome. Eva had an unforgettable laugh that could be heard from a mile away-maybe even ten. She gave the tightest, most heartfelt hugs. She would give the shirt off her back to anyone in need. Eva was an amazing cook, who enjoyed making meals for her friends and family. She loved teasing and "bullying" her children in the most loving and playful way, dancing, singing, and cherishing every moment spent with the people she loved.

Eva was preceded in death by her son, Joel Renteria.

She is survived by her husband of 8 years, Sixto Cisneros; parents: Fransisca Cortez and Alfredo Lozano; sister: Hilda Cortez; brother: Cristobal Lozano; children: Fernando Renteria and wife Sandra Renteria; Gabriel Renteria and wife Dayana Lazo; and Christine Renteria and boyfriend Jimmy Smith.; Javier Avila and girlfriend Monique Perez; Jessie Rivas, and Valerie Jimenez; grandchildren: Kaylah Renteria, Hazel Renteria, Fernando Renteria, Eli Renteria, Allison Renteria, Aryah Avila, Ezra Avila, Jayvien Rivas, Jai Rivas, Nathan Renteria; as well as many nieces, nephews, cousins, and extended family who loved her dearly.

The family wishes to express their heartfelt thanks to everyone who has offered support, comfort, and love during this difficult time. Your kindness means more than words can express.

Eva will be remembered for her joy, her laughter, and her boundless love. She will be deeply missed.
