Eva A Crow

Eva Alice Crow, age 61, of Sidney, Nebraska, passed away on Sunday, January 04, 2026. Memorial Services will be held at 11:00 A.M. on Tuesday, January 20, 2026 at the Gehrig-Stitt Event Center in Sidney, Nebraska. Inurnment will take place at a later date.

Friends may stop by the Gehrig-Stitt Chapel to leave their condolences for the family.

Eva Alice Crow, the daughter of Marjorie (Boyda) and Lawrence D. Crow, was born October 24, 1964 in Kimball, Nebraska. In 1985, Eva welcomed her first born son, Brian Crow and had three more children; Jessica in 1987, Haley in 1990 and Wayne, Jr. in 1993. Eva was a longtime resident of Kimball with her partner Wayne Wittrock Sr. They resided in Kimball for 15 years. Most of her time working was her enjoyment of cooking and the love she had of helping others.

In 2007, Eva relocated to Sidney, Nebraska to be closer to her eldest daughter, Jessica. Eva started helping with the co-ed softball in 2008, where her eldest son, Brian, played. In 2015, Eva started helping at motocross as a gatekeeper, where she became a pillar at both sporting events.

In her free time, she was discovering her family history, baking goods, and making crafts. She would sell these crafts/goodies if necessary and help those in need. She loved collecting anything skull related and would display it in various ways.

Survivors include her children: Brian (Boat) Crow and his children; Ashlen, Brennen, and Carsen. Jessica and husband Mike Ross and their two children: Aaron and Brycelind. Haley and husband Casey Diedrich and their children, Raphael, Paisleigh and two unborn twins. Wayne Jr. and his wife Erica E. Portillo-Wittrock and their children: Jedediah, Eric, Andrew, Alexander, Wittleigh, Maxxdean, and Maliyah. Her eldest brother David Boyda, and two younger sisters: Elaine Sutton, Emily Connelly, and sister-in-law, Carmen Herrera.

Eva is preceded in death by both her parents: Marjorie and Lawrence Crow, two sisters; Esther Smith and Elizabeth Craghead, grandchild; Theilor Portillo-Wittrock, and a niece.
