Eva Enck Obituary

Obituary published on Legacy.com by Epting Funeral Home - Bentonville on Mar. 31, 2026.
Eva Enck

July 11, 1941 until March 29, 2026

Eva Enck, age 84, of Rogers, Arkansas, passed away on March 29, 2026.
Eva was born July 11, 1941, in Los Angeles, California, to Felix and Irene (Rios) Ortiz. She devoted her life to her family as a loving mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother. She was a dedicated homemaker and also served the Rogers School District for many years, where she was known for her strong work ethic and kind heart. Eva was a devoted Catholic whose deep faith was an important part of her life and gave her strength and guidance.
Those who knew Eva remember her for her beautiful smile, generous spirit, and lively personality. She was the kind of person who would give the shirt off her back to anyone in need. With her quick wit, funny disposition, and sassy sense of humor, she was often the life of the party and brought joy and laughter to those around her.
She especially loved spending time at the slots in the casinos, playing poker with friends and family, and was well known for being especially lucky when it came to gambling. She often laughed about how she nearly missed her own wedding in Las Vegas because she was winning on a slot machine and did not want to leave. She also enjoyed fishing with her husband at their lake home, spending time with her beloved pets, listening to good Motown music, and most of all, cherishing time with her friends and family.
Eva was preceded in death by her husband, Timm K. Enck; her parents, Felix and Irene Ortiz; five brothers; and two sisters.
She is survived by her children, David Enck, JoAnn Dickey and husband Joseph, and Brenda Enck; her grandchildren, Waylon Enck, Kyle Dickey and wife Kelsey, Angelica Greear and husband Chris, Jared Dickey, and Christopher Yerton; her great-grandchildren, Holley Enck and Brooklynn Dickey and her mother Lauren Dickey; and four sisters and one brother. She also leaves behind many nieces and nephews who will cherish her memory.
A graveside service will be held Thursday, April 2, 2026, at 1:00 PM at St. Vincent de Paul Catholic Cemetery in Rogers, Arkansas. The service is open to friends and family.
She will be remembered for her kindness, her laughter, her lucky streak, and the unconditional love she gave to her family and friends. Her memory will live on in the hearts of all who knew and loved her. If there was a slot machine, a fishing pole, or family nearby, Eva was exactly where she wanted to be. She is now at peace in God's care.
