Leo, I am so sorry to read of Eva's passing. I saw the notice in the Clarkston News today. I remember when I was a young girl and you told my Mother that you and Eva were getting married. She was so happy for you. My prayers are with you and your family.
Love,
Your cousin Bea Sarwas (Traynor)

Mom,
We know you are now where we all knew you would be some day, through the gates of heaven. Welcomed by all of your treasured family and friends who passed before you. We know the reunion is wonderful and joyful for all.
Don’t worry about us, you have done a wonderful job teaching us right from wrong, and showing us how to be good people, parents and grand parents. If we can only come close to the example you have set for us, we too will certainly have done a wonderful job.
We will keep you always in our hearts, and your grandchildren and great grandchildren will know what a special person you are. We will laugh and cry as we think of the many wonderful years we had with you. How blessed are we.
As for Dad, his heart is broken in a way only he can describe through his grief.
We know he is strong and will fight his way through the pain and emptiness he now feels. He will again find some level of happiness, even though his heart will be heavy missing you.
Mom, we may never in our lifetime meet a person with your grace, innocence and appreciation for life and all of its blessings. Your faith in god has never wavered through some very difficult and unfair times. God has no doubt found you a special place in heaven.
We love you and miss you more than words can say.
God willing, we will see you again! What a wonderful reunion that will be!
Rest in peace Mom.
Your loving family.

In the midst of our sadness, Kathy and I chuckled while imagining Eva and Rose reunited, chatting away while drinking cheap wine from a box. That was heaven on earth for them, so they might as well continue now (since you never could interrupt them anyway!) But that happy thought means we are saying good bye to our treasured Aunt Eva. She always loved and cared for us as her own. We pray for her eternal peace and for that peace, by the grace of God, to somehow accompany the emptiness for Uncle Leo and our cousins' families. Our love to you all, Dennis & Kathy, Danielle, Allison & Theresa.

Eva and Leo. I cannot say one without the other. I talk for a living yet I have no words to express how I feel about losing Aunt Eva. Then again my memories of her are long and plentiful. Here is a memory that consoles me: Eva and Leo in the living room or kitchen with Rose and Ted, drinking coffee and talking early in the morning or late in the evening. To my uncles Joe and Moody: there is consolation in having had your sister near you for all these years. To my cousins: my family and I share your grief and many happy memories. To my Uncle Leo: you are blessed with a loving family. What a wonderful feeling it is. Peace to you all. Rest in peace Aunt Eva.
