Eva “Nell” was born October 7, 1933 to Bertie and A.Z. Stevens in Comanche County, Texas. She was ushered into the presence of our Lord Jesus on Friday, August 29, 2025 at the age of 91. Nell was a beloved daughter, wife, mother and proud grandmother, great grandmother and great great grandmother. She was preceded in death by her parents; her sisters, Ima Jean Stevens and Erma Lee Stevens; her brother Edward Lane Stevens; her husband, M. L. Lancaster, her son Steve Wilkerson and his wife Lori Wilkerson and her grandson Matthew Wilkerson. Nell was survived by her two children: her son, Lowell Lancaster (Linda), and her daughter, Peggy Christensen. She is also survived by her granddaughters, Ashley Tice, Brandy (Windsor) Bradshaw (Mike), BreAnna Lancaster, Kristi (Wilkerson) Slover (Matthew), and Jessica (Wilkerson) Wood (Larry), her grandson, James Edward Campbell (Tiffany), 12 great grandchildren, 2 great great grandchildren, and many nieces, nephews and extended family. Known for her abundant energy, fierce stubbornness and her chocolate chip cookies; she loved gardening, dancing, music and animals. Nell was a cherished neighbor, devoted friend, faithful sister in Christ and avid prayer warrior for all. She was a friend to the friendless, a warrior for the underdog and an advocate for all animals. She is dearly loved and will be greatly missed. Pallbearers are Chance Stevens, Chuck Reynolds, Blake Reynolds, Chase Reynolds, Mike Gensler and Larry Wood. Honorary pallbearer Dale Tice. Pastor Dennis Henson to officiate. 

Visitation will be Wednesday, September 3, 2025 from 5:00-7:00PM at Calvario Funeral Chapel, 111 W. Northside Dr., Fort Worth, TX, 76106. Funeral Service will be Thursday, September 4, 2025 at 11:00AM at Calvario Funeral Chapel with a graveside service to follow at Noon at Mount Olivet Cemetery, 2301 N. Sylvania, Fort Worth, TX, 76111.
