Eva Louise Maynor, 84, of Talala, OK, will be greatly missed following her passing on February 2, 2026, in Claremore, OK. Born on February 13, 1941, in Claremore, she was the cherished daughter of Raymond and Elsie (Thomason) McMillen and a lifelong resident of the Talala area.
Eva's journey began when she married her beloved husband, Jack Maynor, on July 8, 1960. Together, they built a life filled with love and devotion, raising three children: Jack Maynor Jr. and his wife Laura of Copan, Rhonda Booker of Foyil, and Shawn Maynor and his wife Kelly of Talala. Eva's legacy continues through her six grandchildren, ten great-grandchildren, and two great-great-grandchildren, all who will carry her spirit forward.
For 35 years, Eva thrived as a Farmers Insurance Agent in Collinsville, where her dedication extended beyond her profession to her community. She held a deep love for her faith, passionately working in her church and leading Bible studies for young women. Her warmth and wisdom touched many lives, creating lasting bonds within her community.
Family and friends will gather to honor Eva's life on February 8, 2026, at the Collinsville Dolton Funeral Home. A public viewing will take place from 1:30 pm to 6:00 pm, with the family present from 2:00 pm to 4:00 pm to share memories and offer comfort. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 am on February 9, 2026, at the Oologah Assembly of God Church, led by Pastor David Priest. Following the service, Eva will be laid to rest at the Wann Cemetery in Oologah.
The family takes solace in the love and memories shared with Eva, whose gentle spirit and unwavering devotion to her family and faith will forever be remembered. Services are under the direction of Collinsville Dolton Funeral Home.
Eva was preceded in death by her parents: Raymond McMillen and Elsie McMillen, one brother: Monroe McMillen and one sister: Darlene Jenkins.
