Eva Pauline Parker, age 83, of Ward, Arkansas, passed away peacefully on October 26, 2025. She was born on February 25, 1942, in Alameda County, California, to the late Edward Wallace Amos and Laura Jean Amos. She was also preceded in death by her beloved husband, Frederick Parker.

Pauline is survived by her devoted brother, David Amos, and his wife, Gloria. From 1975 to 2012, she lived in Dayton and Carson City, Nevada, where she and Frederick raised their three children: Edward Parker, Sandra Lippert, and Tricia Parker. She will also be dearly missed by her grandchildren, Theresa Williams and Derrick Jackson, along with her cherished cat, Sophie.

Known for her kindness, generosity, and selfless spirit, Pauline devoted her life to caring for others. She possessed an extraordinary work ethic; regardless of the job or responsibility, she always gave 110%. During her long career at Mervyn's in Carson City, she began in the gift wrap department and worked her way up to management, earning the respect of coworkers and customers alike through her dedication and steady leadership.

Pauline came from a family with a proud tradition of military service; her husband served in the United States Army, and her father was a United States Marine. She was especially proud to be the mother of a Boy Scout who later went on to serve in the United States Air Force, continuing that legacy of honor. She was also actively involved in the 4-H community with her children, supporting their growth and interests.

A lover of simple joys, Pauline enjoyed Elvis Presley's music and found comfort in Hallmark movies. A lifelong animal lover, she found joy and companionship in every pet she welcomed into her home. Strong-willed and fiercely independent, she remained in her own home and cared for herself until her passing, living life on her terms.

Services will be held in Carson City, Nevada, at a future date, where her remains will be laid to rest with her husband, Frederick.

Pauline will be remembered fondly and forever cherished in the hearts of her family, friends, and all who were fortunate enough to know her.

"She made broken look beautiful and strong look invincible. She walked with the universe on her shoulders and made it look like a pair of wings."
