Eva Sones Seal Obituary
Burial will be in New Palestine Cemetery under the direction of McDonald Funeral Home.
Brother Cedric Lumpkin will officiate the service.
A native of Nicholson, MS, she was retired from The Picayune Item and a member of New Palestine Baptist Church. Joyce loved to work in her yard, clean house, and shop. She enjoyed Gospel Music and being with her family. Joyce will be truly missed by all who knew and loved her.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Morris Mark Sones and Eunice Phelps Sones; her son, Rodney Keith Seal; her sisters, Katherine Kennedy Cox, Ella Rose Loveless Kitchens, Muriel Morris, and her brothers, Glyndol Ray Sones; Ralph Sones and John Otho Sones.
Left to cherish her memory are her husband of 70 years, Thomas E. Seal; her son, Johnie W. Seal and wife, Liz; her grandson, Shannon Seal; and her sister, Jewel Merritt.
The family would like to thank the staff of Enhabit Home Health and Hospice for their care during Joyce's illness.
