Travis Merrill Garrison

Celebration of Life for Travis Merrill Garrison, Sr.age 84, of Carriere, Mississippi who passed away Tuesday, March 17, 2026 will be held, March 29th, 2026 at 2:00 PM at Italian Grill in Picayune.

Services are under the direction of McDonald Funeral Home.

Travis and Diane were married 64 years raising a family in Metairie, Louisiana, then moving to Chalmette in the later years and eventually retiring in Carriere, Mississippi. Travis retired from Towers Construction in 2012 after 25 years of service. Travis found joy in the simple pleasures of life, especially spending time outdoors. He enjoyed cutting grass, maintaining his yard and taking peaceful naps on the patio. Some of his most cherished moments were spent on family vacations, camping trips, and gathering around the table with those he loved most. his presence brought comfort, laughter and love to every occasion. He will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved him, especially his family and friends whose lives were forever touched by his kindness and warmth.

He was preceded in death by his father, Claude Garrison, mother, Mildred "Ming" Garrison.

Left to cherish his memory are his wife, Diane Morris Garrison, daughter, Denise Moran, son, Travis (Milicent) Garrison, II, granddaughter, Taylor (Brennan) Autin; extended family, Mark (Tammy) Discon and Diane (Tony) Massaro
