Eva M. Starcher, 82, of Lakemore, passed away on March 4, 2026. She was born on January 28, 1944 the daughter of the late Joseph and Bernadine Holly. Eva was a member of the Army Navy Garrison #273 in Lakemore where she enjoyed cooking for all the veterans. Eva was always active enjoying 50 plus years of bowling with many different leagues. She also enjoyed Bingo and was an avid Cleveland sports fan. She loved the outdoors especially camping and fishing with family and friends. Eva was a phenomenal singer and always encouraged her family to sing with her. Eva will always be remembered as a woman of faith, having love for her family, an infectious laughter, and a great sense of humor. She will be greatly missed.
She was preceded in death by her parents; beloved husband Robert "Bob" Starcher; daughter Sheila M. Hampton; son James "Jim" D. Gartner; granddaughter Melissa Brown; and sister Twila Jo Radcliff.
Eva is survived by her daughters Michele (Rick) White, and Chanin (Wes) George; grandchildren Misty, Jay, Renee, Josh, Shaina, Justin, Lexie, and Lauren; 10 great-grandchildren; sister Sue Bates; and many nieces, nephews and friends.
Visitation will be held from 5:00 to 7:00pm, Tuesday, March 17th and Wednesday 10:00am to 11:00am at Newcomer Funeral Home (131 N. Canton Rd., Akron) where services will be held Wednesday at 11:00am.
Interment will be held at Ohio Western Reserve National Cemetery.
