Eva Ruble - Taylor

Eva Taylor, 99, passed away peacefully on Dec. 18, 2025 at Greenview Assisted Living. She was born July 22, 1926, in Middlebourne, WV to the late Lonnie and Fay Doak. She moved to Akron, Ohio after her high school graduation and worked at Goodyear Aerospace during WWII. Eva married Robert Ruble in 1946 and together they raised 3 daughters. She was a stay-at-home mother for many years but also helped Robert with his business until his passing in 1979. Eva married Ellis Taylor in 1987, and they created wonderful memories traveling out west.

Eva was preceded in death by her husband, Robert Ruble; second husband, Ellis Taylor; parents, Lonnie and Fay Doak; sisters Juanita (Don) Noland and Ruth Lucas, and many friends.

She is survived by her daughters, Connie (Bob) Smith, Cathy (Richard) Moore, Sharon (Rob Sanders) Geffken; 7 grandchildren, 5 great-grandchildren, 3 great-great grandchildren along with several nieces and nephews.

The family wants to thank the staff at Greenview Senior Assisted Living Facility, specifically the Special Care Unit, and Compassionate Care Hospice for the kind and loving care of our mother during her stay.

A Celebration of Life will be Saturday, January 24, 2026, at Arnold Funeral Home in Hartville, 504 W. Maple St, Hartville, Ohio 44632.
