In Loving Memory of Evan Councill Brown

With broken hearts and immeasurable love, we announce the passing of Evan Councill Brown, 27, of Port Saint Lucie, Florida, on February 19, 2026.

Evan was more than a son, brother, uncle, grandson, partner, and friend, he was a light. A guiding light whose presence illuminated the path of everyone fortunate enough to know him. His kindness was effortless. His love was abundant. His compassion and empathy ran deep, touching lives in ways words can scarcely capture. Evan was thoughtful, gentle, and a beautiful soul who felt life fully and lived it boldly.

He loved living life to its fullest. Whether riding his motorcycle with the wind at his back, carving through fresh snow on a snowboard, skydiving toward the open earth, camping beneath the stars, hiking through quiet trails, or traveling the world in search of new horizons, Evan embraced adventure with a fearless spirit. Yet no adventure meant more to him than the time he spent with those he loved.

His greatest passions were his family and his friends. Evan had a rare gift, he made people feel seen, heard, and valued. His sense of humor was unforgettable. He could lift a room with a single smile or perfectly timed joke. The world is quieter without him, but it is forever better because he was here.

Evan leaves behind his loving mother, Catrina Poblano; his father, Robert Brown; his stepfather, David Poblano; his brother, Austin Brown; his sister, Lauren Brown; his grandmother, Teresa Bresnahan. He also leaves behind devoted aunts, uncles, cousins, his nephew, Desean, and his niece, Raven, and the best friends any man could ever ask for each of whom carries a piece of his heart forward.

Though his time with us was far too short, Evan lived a life filled with depth, meaning, and love. He was the guiding light to everyone's path, and that light will continue to shine in the memories we hold, the stories we tell, and the love we share in his honor.
