In Loving Memory of a Beautiful Soul
Our family has been left with profound sadness and heavy hearts since Evan left this world. Evan was a loving son and brother, and also an authentic & humble human being who touched the lives of many. Evan had 4 brothers and 2 sisters. Nick was closest to Evan in age and had the privilege of witnessing his heart of gold in action. Evan radiated goodness, made friends easily and had a good sense of humor. A favorite memory of Evan was when he got the 1980 Corolla hatchback we all had to use as our "first" car. It was Smurf blue and it needed a paint job so he took it to Maaco (from the commercials) and he had it painted THE SAME SMURF BLUE color! We were all laughing so hard including him! Then he got spinner hubcaps for it and one spun off when he stopped for a red light. He loved having a car :) He liked watching action movies, playing video games, lifting weights, fast cars and teriyaki chicken. He got his 10,000 steps (or more!) every single day. Despite facing life's challenges, Evan was resilient and adapted to every curveball that came his way. He lived his life with courage, kindness, and an unbreakable spirit. His journey was a testament to his strength. Evan had nothing but love for anyone he met, but especially his family. He would give his last dollar to a stranger if they were hungry or in need. We never had many arguments, he was always quick to forgive. He was an understanding and loving brother. We find solace in knowing that Evan is now in a better place; he deserves an easy eternal life filled with love, happiness and all his favorite candy. Though words cannot capture the depth of our grief, we will celebrate our one and only Evan, and cherish the love he shared with our family. He will be profoundly missed but forever remembered in our hearts. May he rest in peace.
