Evandro Barroso Obituary
Evandro P. Barroso, 59, of Worcester, passed away, Wednesday, June 12, 2024, at UMass Hospital in Worcester.
Evandro is survived by his wife, Tathyane Alves-Barroso; a son, Randy Barroso and his wife Vanessa; a daughter, Stephanie Barroso; six siblings, Elvio, Erasmo, Reuber, Elaine, Chenia, and Natecia; two granddaughters, Salomé and Solana; many nieces and nephews. He was born in Guanhães, Brasil, son of Joao B. Barroso and Maria D. N. Perreira.
Evandro worked as a cook for many years in the Worcester area including Barber’s Crossing and Westside Steak and BBQ. He also operated a handyman service in Worcester.
Calling Hours will be held on Thursday, June 20, from 4 p.m. until 7 p.m., with a Funeral Service starting at 7 p.m. in the MERCADANTE FUNERAL HOME & CHAPEL, 370 Plantation Street, Worcester, MA 01605.
The funeral service will be “live streamed” and can be viewed by visiting the funeral home website at www.mercadantefuneral.com and then selecting “live services”. The streaming will begin at 6:55 p.m. est.
