Evangelina Gomez, passed away on March 17, 2026, in Temecula, California, at the age of 71.

Born on August 9, 1954, in Mexico, Evangelina carried with her the values of hard work, devotion, and faith throughout her life. She was a woman of grace and strength whose presence brought warmth and comfort to those around her. She was known for her elegant style, her fancy spirit, and the special way she carried herself with dignity and confidence. Those who knew her best will remember her as loving, friendly, and selfless, always ready to give of herself for the good of others.

Evangelina devoted her life to caring for her family, which was the center of her world. She shared 45 years of marriage with her beloved husband, Jose Luis Gomez, and together they built a life filled with love, commitment, and cherished memories. She was a devoted daughter to her parents, Miguel Sandoval and Maria Guadalupe Mercado, and she held her family close in her heart throughout her life. Her love extended deeply to her children, Maria Guadalupe Espinoza, Jose Espinoza, Efrain Espinoza, Yolanda Espinoza, Ana Connie Guerrero, Liliana Gomez, Luis Bernabe, and Jamie Gomez. She was also a proud and loving grandmother to 30 grandchildren and a treasured great-grandmother to 17 great-grandchildren, each of whom brought her great joy and pride.

Her home was a place of love, laughter, and care, and she found happiness in the simple but meaningful things of life. She loved cooking for her family and making sure everyone was cared for and well fed. She enjoyed going to the casino and dancing, and she was known for her lively spirit and the joy she brought wherever she went. Even in the ordinary moments of daily life, she had a way of making everything feel special. She would dance and clean with the same energy and spirit that defined so much of who she was, bringing both beauty and order into her surroundings.

Evangelina was also a woman of faith who shared the goodness of God with others, especially with her family. Her words and actions reflected a deep belief in kindness, hope, and love. She encouraged those around her through her example and reminded others of the importance of faith in everyday life. Her family will forever remember the comfort of her prayers, the wisdom of her guidance, and the steady love she gave so freely.

Her legacy is one of devotion, generosity, and unwavering love. She touched many lives through her caring nature and her ability to make others feel welcome and valued. Her family and all who knew her will remember her not only for the many roles she fulfilled, but also for the beautiful spirit she carried with her every day. She leaves behind a lasting example of what it means to live with compassion, dignity, and grace.

Evangelina Gomez will be deeply missed and lovingly remembered by all whose lives she touched. Though her earthly journey has come to an end, her memory will continue to live on in the hearts of her husband, children, grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and all who were blessed to know her. Her life was a gift, and her love will remain a lasting light for generations to come.

MAY YOU ALWAYS WALK IN SUNSHINE

May you always walk in sunshine,

and God's love around you flow,

for the happiness you gave us,

no one will ever know.

It broke our hearts to lose you,

but you did not go alone,

a part of us went with you,

the day God called you home.

A million times we needed you,

a million times we've cried.

If love could only have saved you,

you never would've died.

The Lord be with you and

may you rest in peace.
