Evangeline Mueller

Evangeline "Vangie" Mueller, 83, of Wishek, ND, died January 4, 2026, at South Central Health, Wishek. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 am, Saturday, January 10, 2026, at Faith Community Church, Wishek. Visitation will be held one hour prior to the service. Burial will take place at the Wishek City Cemetery. A livestream of Vangie's service will be available on the Faith Community Church Wishek Facebook page.

Vangie was born April 11, 1942, in Logan County to Adolph and Lydia (Sukut) Kramlich. She was the middle of 7 children. She attended rural grade school and went to Lehr High School. She married Gerald Mueller in 1959 and had three children: RoxsAnne (Rick) Bold, Jeanine (Wayne) Vetter and Barry (Lisa) Mueller.

Together they lived and farmed northeast of Wishek until 1995 when they moved into Wishek. Vangie worked for 25 years at the Napoleon Sales Barn and 21 years at the Lariat Lounge in Wishek. She entered the Wishek Living Center in October of 2025.

Vangie enjoyed gardening, canning, cooking, baking, playing cards and pool, but most of all spending time with her family.

Vangie is survived by her children, RoxsAnne (Rick) Bold, Jeanine (Wayne) Vetter and Barry (Lisa) Mueller; grandchildren, Derek (special friend Kali) Bold, Jason (Samantha) Bold, Angie (Jeremy) Vliem, Tyler (Mayensi) Wagner, Camie Mueller, Carson Mueller and Alissa (Steven) Juech; 11 great grandchildren; sisters, Marlyn (Eugene) Roesler and Shirley (special friend Tony) Robertson; brother-in-law, Floyd Ruff and numerous nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Gerald; grandson, Wayne Halverson; granddaughters, April and Danielle Bold; brothers, Alvin and Marvin; and sisters Della and Betty.
