Evelyn Herron Calloway

Evelyn Herron Calloway, aged 87, of Victoria, Texas, passed away on February 26, 2026, in Mathis, Texas. She was born in Victoria, Texas, on March 15, 1938, to the late Robert Herron and Evelyn Williams Herron.

Evelyn had a passion for playing cards, bingo, and her family meant the world to her.

Family and friends are invited to attend visitation on Friday, March 6, 2026, from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM at Grace Memorial Chapel, followed by a Funeral Service at 1:00 PM. Burial will take place on Wednesday, March 11, 2026, at 10:00 AM at Memory Gardens Cemetery.

Evelyn is survived by her daughter, Lisa McNary (the late Carlton McNary, Sr.), of Victoria, Texas, and her son, Herbert Calloway, Jr. (Razlin), of San Antonio, Texas; her grandsons, Carlton McNary Jr, Herbert Calloway III, and Joshua Calloway; and numerous great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Robert Herron and Evelyn Williams Herron; her son-in-law, Carlton McNary, Sr.; her siblings, Velma Miller, Vera Herron, Myrtle Herron, Beulah Cook, Dorothy Brown, Vance Herron, Robert Herron, Floyd Herron, and James Herron; as well as her granddaughter, Isha McNary, and great-granddaughter, Olyve McNary.
