Marco Antonio Prado

Marco A. Prado age 56 of Placedo, Tx passed away on Sunday March 15, 2026. He was born on March 16, 1969, to Rosabel Prado. He is survived by his mother, and his wife, Rose Marie Canales Prado. He is also survived by his daughter, Savannah Alexis Prado (Mario Martinez) of Victoria, Tx, and Chriselda Canales Irwin. Sisters, Sylvia Prado of Victoria, Tx. Brothers, Fernando (Juanita) Prado, and Isidro (Maria) Alarcon all of Victoria, Tx and three fur grandbabies; Lola, Coco and Duke.

Marco attended Stroman High School in Victoria, Tx and Gary Job Corps in San Marcos, Tx. He devoted over 29 years working at Inteplast Group in Lolita, Tx. He enjoyed spending his time with his loving wife, Rose Marie of thirty-two years, and his daughter, Savannah. Marco and Rose Marie created Simply and Gorgeous Decorating Services in 2015. Together they helped many couples and families celebrate special moments in their lives. Marco enjoyed lifting everyone's spirits with his witty humor and jokes, even during his fight with cancer. He was always the life of the party, and he will be missed dearly.

Serving as pallbearers, Isidro Alarcon, Fernando Prado, Arturo Calvo, Lupe Calvo, Rodolfo Prado and Carlos Zertuche.

Honorary pallbearers, Raul Rodriguez, Armano Gomez, Gilberto Lara, Eloy Medrano, Angel Valdez, Patrick Canales, Jamie Jimenez, Clay King, Arnold Canales Sr, Joe Canales, Adam Canales and Raul Sauceda and his many loving nieces and nephews.

Visitation will be Sunday March 22, 2026, 2:00 PM-5:00 PM with a Rosary to be recited at 3:00 PM at Angel Lucy's Funeral Home.

Visitation will resume on Monday March 23, 2026, at 12:15pm with a Mass to begin at 1:00pm at Santisima Trinidad Catholic Church. Burial to follow at Resurrection Cemetery.
