Evelyn Carrillo, 85, of Atwood, passed away at 8:15 a.m., Friday, June 20, 2025 at the Haven of Tuscola, Tuscola, IL

Funeral Services will be held at 11:00 a.m., Wednesday, June 25, 2025 at the First Baptist Church of Atwood, 231 North Illinois Street, Atwood, IL with Dr. Lanny Faulkner officiating. Burial will follow in the Mackville Cemetery, Atwood, IL

Visitation will be held 1 hour prior to the services at the church.

Evelyn was born on September 28, 1939 in Bement, the daughter of Woodrow and Luta Faye Sanders Collins. She married Raul A. Carrillo on December 28, 1959 in Atwood. He survives.

Also surviving are her sons: Roy Alan Carrillo of Shawnee Forest and Keith (Debbie) Carrillo of Atwood, granddaughters: Kacy (John) Nolen of West Frankfort and Kenzie Carrillo of Atwood, great-grandchildren: Josie, Jaden, Jaxsyn, Ryker and Reed.

She was preceded in death by her parents and brothers: Kenneth and John Collins.

Evelyn formerly worked as a barber and was a homemaker. She enjoyed sewing, going to garage sales and spending time with her granddaughters. Evelyn was a member of the First Baptist Church of Atwood.
