Evelyn Craig Obituary
Funeral: 12 p.m. Saturday, June 10, 2023, in Greenwood Chapel. Interment: Greenwood Memorial Park. Visitation: 6 to 8 p.m. Friday, June 9, at Greenwood.
Evelyn was born Oct. 7, 1928, to Arthur and Nora Duncan in Olney, Texas. She was a graduate of Megarel High School and secretarial school. Evelyn worked for Panther Oil and Grease of Fort Worth for a few years and then J.P. Bowlin Co., for over 40 years as a secretary.
She was a member of Calvary Chapel of Fort Worth, where she volunteered with the Senior Group Grace Connection for several years and the kids church until the age of 87. Evelyn was a servant at heart, willing to help wherever she was needed.
She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Roy Craig; and three brothers, Arthur B. Duncan, Donald Duncan and Hallie Duncan.
Survivors: Son, Roy Dalton Craig, Jr. and wife, Amanda of Alaska; daughter, Shari Davis of Fort Worth; brothers, Travis Duncan and wife, Jena of Granbury, George Duncan and wife, Nita of Houston; sister-in-law, Dorthy Duncan of Wichita Falls; six grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren.
