Evelyn Dandurand Obituary
June was the second eldest of five children born to Rose and Ralph Malvestuto. Her three sisters, Helen (Leo) Mikos, Edith DeDoes and Connie (Bob) Burns predeceased her, and she is survived by her brother Lou (Wilhelmina) Malvestuto.

June Dandurand always spoke of her children and grandchildren as her blessings. Remarkably, if you add them up, she is survived by a total of 30 grandchildren, great grandchildren and great great grandchildren, 28 of whom are male.
June had many professions in her lifetime, including as an FCC licensed telephone operator, executive secretary to Catholic Charities, office manager of Landlord's Leisure to name just three. She was a dedicated worker at the Community Clothes Closet.
Everywhere she worked they would tell you she was a talented, accomplished and polite professional. But she was most proud of the many days, months and years she spent assisting her children as caregiver to her many grandchildren, helping to mold them into loving and successful adults.
Her husband was a traveling salesman often moving the family to new cities, including Park Forest, Crete and Peoria, Illinois, Marion, Iowa, and Holden and Warrensburg, Missouri, while her young children were still in the home, and she raised her family of seven children, largely on her own. She was always on the go, and her children and grandchildren want everyone to know they could not possibly love or appreciate her more.
June was a life-long devout Catholic, who for decades personally delivered Holy Communion to parishioners who could not physically make it into church. Even in her late 80's she enjoyed giving the Sacrament of Communion to "the little old ladies" of Sacred Heart Parish in Warrensburg, as she referred to them.
June very much treasured her trip with her older sister, Helen, to Rome and to the Holy Land in Jerusalem.
She was quite proud of her Italian (Malvestuto) heritage, and, just like her Mother, was famous for her spaghetti and lasagna sauces.
In lieu of flowers, her family suggests donations to Beacon of Hope Hospice, Sacred Heart Parish or any preferred charity.
Her family will receive guests from 10:00 am until 11:15 am on Saturday, May 17, 2025, at Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Warrensburg, followed by the recitation of the Rosary.
A Funeral Mass will be celebrated at 11:30 am at the Church with Father Abraham presiding.
