Evelyn Grace Evans, 83 years, 9 months, and 28 days old, passed away on July 17, 2023 at her home with her family by her side.
Evelyn was born September 20, 1939 in Ozark County, Missouri to Doin and Dena (Scott) Watson.
She was a Christian and a member of the Frye church. She was the secretary for many years.
On April 9, 1958, Evelyn and Carl were united in marriage in Ozark County and they were blessed with three boys, Kenneth, Roger and Randy.
She enjoyed sewing, quilting and cooking. She loved spending time with her family.
Evelyn was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Carl; three sisters, Pauline Wallace, Maggie Watson, an infant sister, Alice Watson, and brother Darrel Watson.
Evelyn is survived by three sons and their wives, Kenneth and Wendy Evans, Roger and Telesia Evans, and Randy and Cheryl Evans; many grandchildren; many great grandchildren; one great-great granddaughter; two sisters, Lorine Huitt and Jenice Pollock; two brothers; Delmas Watson and H.B. Watson; and many other cousins, neices, nephews and other relatives and friends.
Funeral services for Evelyn will be Thursday, July 20, 2023 at 2:00 P.M. in the Clinkingbeard Funeral Home, Ava, Missouri. Visitation will be Thursday from 1:00 P.M. to service time. Burial will be in the Thornfield Cemetery. Officiating will be Pastor Ray Dobbs. Memorials may be made to the Thornfield Cemetery.
