Ava, Missouri

Mark Robert Brandt, 71 years, 5 months, 11 days old, passed away on, October 13, 2025, at his home, with his wife by his side.

Mark was born May 2, 1954, in Quesnel British Columbia, Canada, to Leona Joan Inkster.

Mark graduated from East Anchorage Alaska High School in 1973.

He enlisted with the United States Coast Guard in 1973 and served through 1975. Soon thereafter, he became a naturalized U.S. Citizen in 1977.

Mark and Nanci Lynn Wantz were united in marriage on January 11, 1996, in Eureka Springs, Arkansas, and together were blessed with a daughter, Christina.

He worked as a CADD Operator in architecture engineering in Civil, Mechanical, Architectual, and Eectrical Design and Drafting for many years both in California and northwest Arkansas. In addition, he worked in the oil fields and pipeline in Alaska.

He recently worked as a voice over artist using his voice for narrating books and character voices. Mark had many different voices he could do. He also got the opportunity to do stand up comedy for a short time.

Mark served as a volunteer chaplain at Mercy Hospital in Northwest Arkansas for a short time. He had a deep faith that guided his life.

He loved animals, he enjoyed tinkering on cars, and most of all he loved being with his wife, his daughter, and especially his grandchildren.

Mark was preceded in death by his parents.

He is survived by his wife, Nanci; his daughter, Christina Colston; his two grandchildren; and his brother, Erik Brandt.

A private burial is being held at the Goodhope Cemetery per Mark's request.

The family will be having a Celebration of Life at a later date.
