Evelyn Sharpe Furtick

Evelyn Sharpe Furtick, 95, of Cayce, SC, wife of Harry C Furtick, Jr., died December 28, 2025. She was born in Columbia, SC on July 19, 1930. She was the daughter of the late Reuben Sharpe and Mattie Todd. She was an active member of Mount Tabor Lutheran Church, where she was a member of Ladies Aid; a Sunday School teacher; and a Vacation Bible School teacher. She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother and great grandmother.

Surviving, in addition to her husband of 77 years, are her two children Debra Furtick Attaway of Columbia and Russell Harry Furtick of Jacksonville, Florida and his wife Beverly; four grandchildren, Daniel Attaway (Wilmington, DE), Dea Lifsey (West Columbia), Ben Furtick (London) and Ryan Furtick (St. Louis, MO); three great grandchildren, Ransome Lifsey, Clark Furtick, and Paige Furtick; and numerous nieces and nephews.

Visitation will be at Thompson Funeral Home, 4720 Augusta Road, Lexington, SC 29073, on Saturday, January 3, 2026 at 10 am with services following at 11 am.
