Evelyn Hall, 93
Born in War, WV on July 13, 1930 she was the daughter of Thomas Matthew, and Rosa Myrtle Hess. Evelyn went to be with her Lord and Savior January 18, 2024 after a brief illness.
Evelyn was preceded in death by her parents, her husband Douglas Hall, her son Dougie Hall, grandsons Jackie Clemens, and Junior Chambers, grand daughter Tiffany Ann Hall, and her four sisters.
Left to carry on her legacy is her large beloved family. Her children Jane Clemens (Ray), Myrtle Chambers (Del), Margaret Agnor, Timothy Hall (Robin), Karen Grear (Billy), and Marlene Stewart (Rick). Evelyn has many beloved grandchildren Doug Clemens, Andrew Clemens, Marjorie Knapp, Debbie Skiles, Elizabeth Hernandez, Amy Hurst, Darla Moomaw, Matthew Agnor, Christina Jude, Crystal Hall, Angela Bailey, and Jessica Osborne. Along with 36 great grandchildren, and 22 great great-grandchildren with 3 more on the way. Evelyn also leaves behind her sweet dog Maddy.
Evelyn was a strong independent lady who loved and lived for the Lord. She was a homemaker, gardener, and friend to everyone she met. She was immensely loved by those she left behind, and will be forever missed.
Services will be held Wednesday January 24, 2024 at Calfee Funeral Home in Beckley. Family visitation will begin at 10:00am, friends at 11:00am, and services at 12:00pm with Rev. Ernest Calfee officiating. Committal will follow in the chapel at Sunset Memorial Park.
