Evelyn S. Hensley went home to be with her Lord and Savior on September 22, 2025. Born on April 30, 1937, in Circleville, Ohio, she was the beloved daughter of Robert G. and Katherine E. (Lape) Reeser.
A lifelong resident of Circleville, Evelyn was known for her strength, kindness, and unwavering faith. Alongside her former husband, Calvin Hensley, she successfully operated MoJac Inc. and Hensley Trucking for 34 years—leaving a lasting legacy in the local business community.
Evelyn had a deep love for music and dancing and found great joy vacationing by the ocean. She cherished moments spent with her family and was happiest when surrounded by her children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her son Ronnie J. Hensley; grandsons Jack D. Hensley Jr. and Joseph R. Hensley; great-granddaughter Olive L. Fouch; brothers Richard, Max, Robert, and Howard Reeser; sister Sheila Myers, brother-in-law David Myers and sister-in-law Jo Reeser.
Evelyn is survived by her loving children: Katherine Jones of Worthington; Jack D. (Kathleen) Hensley of Circleville; and Gale Fouch of Circleville. She leaves behind nine cherished grandchildren—Julie (Rich), Marissa (Kyle), Andrew (Alicia), Anthony, Elizabeth, Sasha, Kasandra (Ryan), Hallie (Jameson), and Evan. —as well as 12 great-grandchildren who brought her great joy.
She is also survived by her brother Sam (Patty) Reeser, sister Linda (Harold) Pyle, sisters-in-law Joy, Diane and Rosalie Reeser, son-in-law Tim Fouch, and many beloved nieces and nephews.
The family would like to extend heartfelt thanks to the dedicated staff at Pickaway Manor, Heartland Hospice, and to Jeannette Branham for their compassionate care and support.
