Your mother was very impressive in so many ways, and clearly a positive influence on many people. I know where you get your sparkle; and am sorry for your loss.

I knew Elise Kidd from growing-up years at Asbury Meth. Church. She was very active in her church for many years. I always envied her beautiful hair! Elise was a big supporter of Texas Longhorns sports and attended many games through the years. My sincere sympathy to Madelyn and the extended family on her passing.

So sorry to learn of the passing of Elise. I never knew she shared first names with my Mom! Madelyn I know (through my sister Nancy keeping me up to speed) that you cared for your mom for these last years. She was lucky to have such a wonderful daughter and you such a wonderful mom.

What a delightful, kind, and humorous person she was. I enjoyed every minute that I spent with her, and I smile every time I think of her.

Elise was always such a lovely, sweet presence and a wonderful human being. She and Madelyn have been good friends to my mother and me for many years. I send prayers of gratitude for Elise and of healing for her family.
