We all smile when we think of her or even mention her name.
She danced through the fashion industry with style, grace, and tenacity, leaving her mark as she became iconic in her world.
Evie owned the word MOM, as she is everyone's mom and adored by her family.
A great friend to all, even if she did not agree with you, but was always there for you. An adoring wife to her man Bob, that was Evie.
We need never to forget the mark she left on each of us and in her world. There will NEVER be another Evie.
EVELYN FRANCES KREISLER
June 24, 1931 - July 18, 2025
Evie was born in Far Rockaway, New York to Nathan and Muriel Liebowitz.
She is survived by her children, Jerry, Lindy, Debbi, 7 grandchildren and 6 great grandchildren. Married to Bob Kreisler and had a 70 year love affair with her Bob.
Evie's career started because of her flair for fashion and her entrepreneurial spirit. She started in the early 1960's owning her own specialty fashion store and continued working for the Broadway department store. Her career led her to the California Apparel Mart where she opened her successful, national executive search firm, Evie Kreisler and Associates. Following her retirement in 1990, her drive for charitable work led her to join WOW and leading their fashion shows for many years to a very successful fundraising event
