Evelyn (Owen) Clay Obituary
Evelyn Lesley (Owen) Clay, 89, of Beards Fork, WV passed away on Tuesday, August 12, 2025 at the Bowers Hospice House ion Beckley, WV.
Born May 30, 1936 in London, England she was the daughter of the late William and Eva Hollis Owen.
Evelyn worked in the shoe department in England, and also worked for the Fayette Tribune and the Montgomery Elderly Care. She was also member of the Deepwater Church of Healing Waters at Deepwater. She loved her family deeply.
Along with her parents she is preceded in death by her son, Edwin Clay; daughter, Sonya Inzirilla; and grandson, Austin Wykle.
Those left to cherish her wonderful memory include her loving husband, Glen Clay; and grandchildren, James William Clay and Luke Allen Clay. She will be greatly missed by all.
Funeral service will be 1:00 PM on Friday, August 15, 2025 at Tyree Funeral Home Chapel in Oak Hill with Pastor Randy Black officiating. Burial will follow at High Lawn Memorial Park in Oak Hill.
Visitation for friends will be one hour prior to service at the funeral home in Oak Hill on Friday, August 15, 2025.
